About the initiative:

The Convention on Biological Diversity (CBD) is where the world agrees on global policy for Nature. The zero draft of the post-2020 framework of CBD at the moment includes the sentence: "Consider and recognize, where appropriate, the rights of nature." To ensure that the convention reaches its targets and the vision of living in harmony with nature by 2050, a transformation of the human-nature relationship is needed. Rights of Nature provide the underlying basis for such a paradigm shift. Let's strengthen this field.
